The bank is looking for a blockchain development specialist. The vacancy was announced in connection with the launch of the digital hryvnia project.

posted in the professional social network LinkedIn the vacancy “blockchain developer”. The same vacancy
posted on the official website of the bank. The requirements for the skills of candidates list “development, implementation and modification of infrastructure services and distributed systems, work with smart contracts, skills for working with the Hyperledger project.” The vacancy is associated with the launch of the CBDC project – digital hryvnia. Last week, Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, Alexander Bornyakov, spoke at a round table on the opportunities and risks of legalizing virtual assets. He mentioned that the pilot project of the electronic hryvnia has already been launched.
The NBU is considering the possibility of issuing the central bank’s digital currency from 2016. A pilot test of the currency as a blockchain-based retail payment medium began in 2018. The process may have accelerated after the adoption of legislation designed to establish a transparent regulatory framework for digital assets and stimulate the development of the national crypto industry.
