“The Nest: Football & Tragedy”: documentary miniseries arrives on Netflix

“The Nest: Football & Tragedy” a miniseries that talks about the fire at Flamengo's CT arrived in the Netflix catalog this Thursday (14).

Divided into three episodes with a documentary character, the production follows the professional trajectory of some survivors and the families' fight for justice.

The tragedy killed 10 young people in February 2019 and completed five years in 2024. Throughout the episodes, the production also portrays how the dream of joining a big football club impacted entire families.

The athletes' fathers and mothers were not even aware of the precarious conditions of the accommodation and believed that their children were in a safe place.

Relatives of the victims and UOL journalists involved in investigating the tragedy raise questions about what actually happened at Ninho do Urubu.
