Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government has decided to recall the entire Israeli delegation from Qatar due to the ongoing impasse in indirect negotiations with Hamas for the ceasefire and the agreement to release hostages today. On Tuesday, Netanyahu announced the revocation of high -ranking negotiating teams after a week of “intensive” talks on the release of hostages, leaving only one working group in Doha. According to today’s reports, the remaining members of the Israeli negotiating group are being recalled. Homer families that continue to be held in the Gaza Strip have expressed strong criticism of the decision. Among the points of conflict of the parties involved in the negotiations are the fact that Hamas requires the end of hostilities in exchange for the release of the rest of the hostages. Israel states that it will agree on it only if Hamas deposits its weapons and its leadership leaves the Gaza Strip. Hamas rejects these requests.
