The Netherlands says no at present in the recognition of the Palestinian state

The Netherlands government ruled out the recognition of Palestinian state at a given time, despite the growing concern about the situation in the Gaza Strip, but noting that Israel’s actions in the war -damaged area undermine security. The Netherlands’ attitude contradicts that of some of its allies in NATO – mainly of France, which has announced its decision to recognize the Palestinian state in September. Britain has stated that it will do the same unless Israel is taking steps to relieve the civilian population in Gaza and agreed on a ceasefire. “The Netherlands is not planning to recognize a Palestinian state at the given time,” Dutch Foreign Minister Caspar Feldabab said at an extraordinary House meeting on Gaza developments.
