Athanasios Liagos takes over the position of President and CEO of THA and Georgios Karamanolakis takes over the position of Chief Financial Officer, the listed company announced after today’s Board of Directors meeting.
In particular, the Executive Chairman, Mr. Athanasios Liagos assumes all the duties of the outgoing Managing Director-General Executive Director, Mr. Franco N. Cupolo from today, 15.07.2022.
The appointment of Mr. Georgios Karamanolakis as Chief Financial Officer from 30.07.2022 to replace Mr. Henrik M. Jepsen, who is leaving on 29.7.2022, also concerns the entire duties of the outgoing executive.
The new Chief Financial Officer has many years of international experience, including in the energy and technology sectors, and is expected to significantly contribute to the continuation of the development course of OLTH SA.
Therefore, the composition of the new Board of Directors of OLTH S.A. as follows:

– Laurent Martens, Vice-Chairman of the Board, non-executive member

– Irini Hadiari, Independent non-executive member
It is emphasized that there is no change in the Committees of the Board of Directors. of OLTH S.A.
Athanasios Liagos is Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors. in the company Thessaloniki Port Organization (OLTH) S.A. and President of the Port Training Institute “Exandas”. He held the position of Vice President, if Managing Director and member of the Board of Directors at Piraeus Port Organization (PPA) SA.
He was an executive of the Hellenic State’s Private Property Development Fund as coordinator of the National Strategic Plan for Ports and Marinas, as well as a member of the Boards of Directors in all Port Organizations of Greece.
He also held the position of senior executive in banks, financial organizations and large companies in Greece and abroad, as well as a member of the Board of Directors in the aforementioned companies.
He has many years of experience in corporate strategy and governance. He studied economics at the University of Athens and holds an MBA from a university institution abroad.
He is a member of the Economic Chamber of Greece and the Association of Top Business Executives (EASE).
