The Japanese company Toyota announced the beginning of accepting orders in Russia for the full-size family crossover Toyota Highlander of the new model year.
The 2022 Highlander is the fifth Toyota vehicle to receive Toyota Connected Services. As noted by the manufacturer, Toyota Connected Services combine the capabilities of mobile Internet, telematics and cloud storage.
The crossover is equipped with a special data transmission module with a built-in SIM card, which allows you to create a Wi-Fi hotspot right in the car. The client can manage the distribution of the Internet, control the list of connected devices, as well as replenish the balance and renew the service.
During the first year, the client has access to prepaid monthly traffic of 10 GB. Toyota Connected Services features are available in all vehicle trim levels and are valid for 10 years from the date of registration and activation of the SIM card.
With the MyT app you can:
- Find your car using geotagging, which can be transferred via social networks and instant messengers. The system helps you determine the exact travel time to your vehicle and provides useful route recommendations.
- Monitor the battery charge and recognize problems in time.
- Retrieve routes traveled in trip history, including duration, mileage, average speed, and the ability to search for trips by calendar.
- In the “Service and Maintenance” section, the mileage until the next MOT is recorded, you can register the car for service to the dealer, keep a diary of service operations using the “Service Log”.
- Understand the functionality of vehicle warning lamps
- Track complete information on current Toyota financial instruments in Russia.
- Get information about the incident on the road using the “Emergency Assistant”, add accurate geotagging and contact the rescue and assistance services.
There are also notes on the vehicle’s service history and important ownership episodes. Route planning is available on the Toyota Highlander only in the “Safety Suite” version. With this function, you can create a route in the app and send it directly to the car’s navigation system.
The color scheme of the model has expanded with a new shade of “white mother-of-pearl”, and the equipment has been supplemented by an electric passenger seat with eight adjustments.
The price for the Toyota Highlander of the next model year for the Prestige package starts from 4,154,000 rubles, for the Safety Suite package – from 4,746,000 rubles.
