The new cycle of Project Future with new trainings and collaborations

With the participation of young graduates from all over Greece, the 4day training takes place, the first stage of training of the 8th cycle of Project Future, the corporate responsibility program of Piraeus Bank, which connects higher education with the labor market and is implemented in collaboration with ReGeneration. The 8th cycle was enriched with new trainings and masterclasses that have been selected in order to meet the modern requirements of the market and to improve the skills of the participants.

Welcoming the 191 participants of the 8th cycle, the CEO of Piraeus Bank Christos Megalou referred to the success of the program, as evidenced by the large participation recorded in each cycle, the high level of specialized training provided and the high rate of absorption in the market. work.

“We started Project Future in 2018 in collaboration with ReGeneration, then seeing with concern the trend of brain drain and seeking to support young people in their efforts to enter the labor market and remain in the country. And in the current situation with the Greek economy “to enter a growth trajectory and with the prospect of improving the labor market, Project Future remains important as it provides young people with high quality specialized education, which is necessary in the modern economy and contributes to sustainable development,” said Mr. Megalou.

The 4day training, the first part of the training, concerns soft & business skills and interaction with market executives and includes masterclasses on: Digital Transformation, Financial Literacy, Metaverse.

The specialized trainings in the fields will follow:

To date, in the 7 cycles of Project Future that have been completed:

* 3,848 young men and women were trained through Project Future and ReGeneration, developing their professional skills.

* 1,370 of them were specialized by attending one of the 44 training programs / Academies of Project Future.

* Since the beginning of the program, 2,021 graduates of Project Future and ReGeneration have found a place in the Greek labor market while the recruitment process is dynamic and in progress.

* Over 92% of young people working through Project Future and ReGeneration, renewed their contract for more than 6 months or secured a longer contract from the beginning.

In addition to the strategic partner, ReGeneration, project partners of Project Future are: Google, Facebook, LinkedIn learning, EY, Code.Hub, BCA, Athens University of Economics and Business, Institute of Financial Literacy, Dimitris Dimitriadis, Senior Business Company, Crete and BSE association of companies and industries.
