The new Patriot flash drive is not inferior to SSD on SATA3 in terms of data transfer speed

Patriot today, June 29, officially unveiled a new flash drive called Supersonic Rage Prime 3.2 Gen 2, which has a very impressive data transfer rate. Based on the name, it is easy to guess that the drive is based on the USB 3.2 Gen 2 standard, and the second generation has a bandwidth of 10 Gbps. Thanks to this, the developers of the company managed to provide a potential buyer with a data transfer rate to a new flash drive of 600 MB / s – this, in fact, puts the novelty one step in speed with modern solid-state drives on the SATA3 interface.

Naturally, Supersonic Rage Prime 3.2 Gen 2 will not be able to compete with SSDs using the PCI-E interface. The manufacturer also noted that the flash drive is equipped with a retractable mechanism and plug-and-play technology for connecting to the system (supported by Windows, Linux and macOS). The weight of the device is only 8.2 grams, and those who want to get such a nimble flash drive will be given the opportunity to buy an option for 250 GB, 500 GB or 1 TB. All three options, surprisingly, cost quite adequate money and boast a five-year manufacturer’s warranty.

Supersonic Rage Prime 3.2 Gen 2 pricing:

  • 250 GB – 49 euros (about 4250 rubles);
  • 500 GB – 89 euros (about 7,700 rubles);
  • 1 TB – 168 euros (about 14,500 rubles).
