Renault subsidiary Dacia has removed the head unit from its new Sandero with a smartphone-replaceable screen.

In order to use a smartphone, it is enough to install a special application that can be configured and display shortcuts of frequently used applications on the screen.

The smartphone is installed in a special place on the dashboard and connects to the car system via Bluetooth. After that, users get access to radio stations, a music player, navigation, phone calls, voice assistant, as well as data that is read by the car’s on-board computer.

It is noteworthy that the car is equipped with a multifunction steering wheel with control buttons that allow you to switch radio stations, music, answer calls and perform other familiar commands.

The Media Control system supports the function of notification if you forgot your smartphone in the car, as well as the capture of the car in the parking lot.
