The new three-year sectoral SSE OTOE-Banks was signed today at the offices of OTOE.
As mentioned in a relevant announcement, OTOE and the Banks, reached on 31/3/2022 – after 3 months of painful negotiations – an agreement on the content of the new sectoral BCC 2022-2024, which was approved by the General Council of OTOE on 1 / 4/2022.
In particular, with the new sectoral S.S.E .:
– The Employment Protection Clause is significantly strengthened: “The parties reaffirm their willingness to protect employment in the sector. The employers in the sector take reasonable steps to prevent redundancies for economic and technical reasons.”
It is the only SSE, which includes a clause for protection against redundancies.
– The salaries of the Single Salary are improved, by escalation over a horizon of three years, by a total of 5.5%. At the same time, the institutional value of the Single Payroll is protected.
– For the first time in a sectoral S.S.E. of such breadth in the country, the introductory basic salary (step) of the Single Payroll will exceed 1,000 euros.
– They are introduced, for the first time in a sectoral S.S.E. in Greece, 15 points regulations – framework for Teleworking, with the adoption of a large part of the respective claiming framework of OTOE: The right to disconnect at the end of the working hours is provided. This framework is the basis for further improvements and specializations at the operational level.
– The validity of the arrangements for the mortgage loans of the bank employees is extended for the next three years.
– The conditions for granting the annual regular leave are codified and improved.
– The facilities for the camps are guaranteed.
Aid for research and training activities is maintained, as well as aid for cultural and sporting activities, aimed at industry workers.
– The codification of the current provisions of the sectoral S.S.E. of the industry.

• To resolutely defend the institution of the sectoral SSEs, so that the employees have a satisfactory and decent Sectoral Collective Bargaining Agreement.
• Fully secure all previous arrangements for the salary and institutional rights of colleagues, providing them with security and perspective for the next three years.
• To form a new S.S.E. according to the modern needs of the new era. A S.S.E. – a springboard for new job conquests at operational level “.
