The new smartphone from Sharp is head and shoulders above the iPhone and Galaxy. What’s special about it

The Japanese company Sharp has introduced its new flagship Aquos R7 for the local market. It turned out to be really innovative, ahead of the cutting-edge developments of both Apple and Samsung, and anyone else.

One of the features lies in the OLED display – it is made using IGZO’s own technology and received a 240-Hz clock frequency. It is dynamic and can be changed in 1 Hz steps.

Another trump card of the smartphone is the main camera of 47.2 megapixels with a huge (by the standards of mobile devices) 1-inch matrix. The camera was developed jointly with Leica (the lens is also from a German partner).
