The new version of Google Camera will offer slow motion shooting of the starry sky

This week Google released an update for the Pixel Tips app, version 3.4.0.373287606, in which enthusiasts found confirmation of the new mode for the Google Camera app.

A line with the text CameraAstrotimelapseSettingController was found in the application code. The Astrotimelapse part indicates the possibility of slow-motion night shooting of the starry sky. In addition, it also says that the function will be implemented in Google Camera version 8.2.3, while at the moment the application is wearing version 8.2.2.

As noted by 9to5Google, the Pixel Tips app also has a mention of the recently announced Locked Folder feature. In this folder, you can save confidential photos and videos. The materials stored in this space will not be displayed when viewing the gallery on any device under your account. The Closed Folder will initially be available on Pixel smartphones, and will appear on more Android devices over the course of the year.

The release dates for these functions are still unknown.
