Let’s face it, it’s hard not to be won over by the multifaceted light of the classic diamond. brilliant cutfrom the rigor of that baguette or from the perfection of the princess – just to name a few. Traditional shapes, certified in addition, but which coexist with the most recent proposals, the result of innovative manufacturing techniques.
Stones born in the laboratory, but precious just like the natural ones. They are the result of an ethical choice (and technology) shared by two brands that wanted to celebrate them with a special collaboration. We interviewed Fiammetta Cicogna of Inbilico and Roberto Dibenedetto of Nove25: find out what they told us…
Have you ever thought of the cut “A” or “P” or even “R” as the initials of your better half? Or the cut “6” or “9” as the day of engagement, or birth or who knows what else? The Parisian brand did it Mysteryjoy who, after months of study with some jewelers, has developed an innovative technique that allows cut the lab diamond (i.e. artificially created and cultivated diamonds that perfectly simulate the physical and chemical conditions of natural ones, and which are more economically accessible) in the desired shape.

A procedure that has allowed us to give life to Diale, a capsule collection of proposals with personalized stones. It is not therefore a question of jewels obtained with small diamonds that are placed next to each other to recreate the desired design, but rather, of a whole diamond which is cut into the desired shape, be it a letter or a number, to be pre-ordered and create precisely to measure.

But not only that. This shows how the universe of precious stones, whether artificial, and therefore cultivated and created in a laboratory, or natural, or extracted from the depths of our earth, is making giant steps in terms of processing techniques, so much so as to “churn out” ever new solutions.
