Six months ago, AMD introduced the open source AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR) spatial scaling technology. It was supported by game developers and publishers – to date, the number of those using FSR has exceeded 80. The technology can be found in 47 games, plus it will be in another 24 games that are preparing for release. In other words, their total number will soon exceed 70. AMD announced this in its blog yesterday, noting that in terms of the speed of implementation, FSR is its best software gaming technology.
New games featuring AMD FSR support include DEATHLOOP, Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition for PC, F1 2021, Far Cry 6, Resident Evil Village, Farming Simulator 22, Ghostrunner, Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, Lego Builder’s Journey, World War Z: Aftermath, Warhammer: Vermintide 2, Arcadegeddon, Baldur’s Gate 3 and Grounded.
It remains to be recalled that FSR technology is compatible with over a hundred AMD processors with Radeon Graphics and Radeon GPUs, as well as solutions from competitors.
