The hiring of private pension plans grew 12.2% in the first half of the year compared to the same period last year.
Among the reasons for this growth is the change in the behavior of the population in relation to financial planning, reinforced especially after the pandemic.
Those who already had a financial reserve planned to supplement their retirement, but had loss of income or health problems, in business, for example, they could count on the immediate liquidity of resources;
Greater sensitivity and aversion to risks, reinforced by the difficulties that have arisen with the pandemic, and which today are betting on private pensions as another option to guarantee resources to face these periods;
According to data from Susep – Superintendence of Private Insurance -, the hiring of private pension plans recorded an increase of 12.2% in the first half of this year compared to the same period last year.
The states of Piauí (41.3%), Mato Grosso (40.4%), Goiás (33.1%), Bahia (31.3%), Maranhão (29.3%) and Mato Grosso do Sul (29 .2%) recorded the highest growth in the first half of this year compared to the same period last year, according to the National Federation of Private Pensions and Life (FenaPrevi).
