The occupation of three settlements in eastern Ukraine was announced by Moscow

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced today that its forces hit a port infrastructure supplying fuel to Ukrainian forces, Interfax reported. The announcement is not named the port. Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelenski had earlier stated that Russia had hit gas distribution station in the southern district of Odessa. The Russian Ministry of Defense also announced that its forces occupied the settlements of Pankiba and Sukchetske in the eastern Ukrainian region of Donetsk, as well as the NOVOGEEGEORGIBKA settlement in the Dnipropetrovski center -east region. The first two settlements are close to the front of the front where the Russian army had split Ukrainian defense last week between Pokrovsk and Kostanibka. Ukrainian aid subsequently stopped and limited this advance of Russian troops, according to Ukrainian Armed Forces. The novogeorgibka settlement is in an area where the Russian troops had first penetrated in July, expanding the front. Source: RES
