The bottom line is that the GeForce RTX 3060 and RTX 3080 Ti models, when a monitor is connected via DisplayPort, in some cases may not display a picture during PC boot. This is due to some problems with the DisplayID of the monitor.

Now Nvidia has released vBIOS update and flashing tool.

The NVIDIA GPU Firmware Upgrade Tool will determine if a firmware upgrade is required and provide the user with the option to upgrade if necessary.

If a blank screen is currently displayed, try one of the following workarounds to run the tool:

-Download using DVI or HDMI

-Download using another monitor

-Change Boot Mode from UEFI to Legacy

-Boot using an alternate graphics source (secondary or integrated graphics)

After downloading the tool, launch it and follow the instructions on the screen. Make sure all applications are closed before running the tool and make sure there are no pending OS updates in the background
