The former first lady of South Korea, Kim Hon Hon, will spend her first day in prison today, in a cell like her husband and former president of the country, Yath Gel Gel, as prosecutors are persecuting the country’s first first couple in the context of a criminal investigation. Kim was transferred to the Seoul Nabu Detention Center on the west side of the capital, a relatively new penitentiary institution opened in 2011 and by the few managed by a woman. Kim will be treated the same as other foods, but will have some minor adjustments to her daily routine as she is a prominent person, as a source told Reuters with knowledge of the subject.
