The Olympian who was breastfeeding her son while doing vertical has a new message to send

The photo of Tora Bright, which shows her 10-month-old son breastfeeding while standing upright, made the rounds of the internet, causing a lot of comments.

After the reactions and her initial response, the Australian Olympian had a new message to send with a video posted on her Instagram account. Bright invites mothers to support each other on the occasion of the angry messages she received for her photo.

Despite feeling “a little stupid” about the issue, Bright noted that she spoke openly because received “many negative comments” from moms.

“We have to be the biggest supporters of each other because motherhood is so beautiful, but the reality is; we are the only ones who know how difficult these moments are and we have to support each other. “Let’s not compare and judge, because we all do things differently and that’s why it’s so beautiful,” said Bright, one of the most successful snowboarders.

At the end of the video, she wonders laughing: “Did anyone really believe that this is how I breastfeed?”.

The mother came under fire on social media after posting her topless photo while standing upright, while breastfeeding her 10-month-old son at the same time. Her first child was born in July 2020 and her husband is Angus Thompson, also a snowboarder. The photo was posted on the occasion of Mother’s Day.

In her first reaction to the negative comments, Bright noted that she was upset, to add that she feels only respect for all moms.
