Director William Brent Bell stated that he is intensively developing the film “Orphan 3”, the third horror film in the franchise.
“We are developing a third one now. The franchise’s rulebook has been opened up to where anything is possible. And knowing where we already are in the process, I’m extremely excited about the twists and turns we have in store,” he said.
The statement was made in an interview with “The Hollywood Reporter” this Thursday (14).
He also commented on his aesthetics in his films. In the case of the second film in the saga, “Orphan 2: The Origin”, the director explained that he created “a very specific look” because he wanted to stay away from what the original film did.
“We wanted to do something a little different that leaned into our version of the story.”
Bell has directed several types of horror films. Recently, he made “The Lord of Chaos”.
