“The Others” actor will play young Buba in “Renascer”: “A pleasure and an honor”

The next chapters of the soap opera “Reborn” must be revealing in relation to the character Buba (Gabriela Medeiros) . After contacting her parents, on Tuesday (14), she should meet them again, which will allow viewers to understand more about the difficulties she went through in her youth.

And the actor who will give life to young Buba will be Henrique Eduardo Silveira, 18 . Carioca, he was part of the supporting cast of the series “The Others” (Globoplay) and says he is excited to see his scenes on air, which should happen from Thursday (16), in the form of flashbacks .

“I'm very excited. For me it is always a thrill and the realization of a dream”, said the actor in conversation with CNN. “I always dreamed of working in audiovisual. So, without the slightest doubt, it will be and always will be an immense joy for me to see that I managed to get to where I always wanted to be.”

Silveira has been acting since she was nine years old, having done theater at CAL [Casa dos Artistas de Laranjeira]. In 2022, he did his first job at Globo, as he shared on social media at the time. Asked about the difficulties of making a trans character he says that “every role is a challenge”.

“Each role has its own DNA, with its characteristics, personality and emotions involved. It was a pleasure and a huge honor to make Buba younger. It was certainly a unique opportunity and it was an immense joy to work with a super caring and professional team”, he said.
