“The paper house”, Berlin’s second life as a painter (with his girlfriend)

He announced it on Instagram with the same emotion with which colleagues reveal an engagement or pregnancy on social media. But on the other hand Pedro Alonso – Berlin de The paper house – that’s how it is: he loves theatrical releases and twists. The actor, who revives his character in the flashbacks of the series on Netflix (the grand finale of the fifth season will arrive on December 3rd), he is currently dedicated to his first and greatest love, painting.

On his profile he wrote: «There is news capable of bringing a special joy.

And this is one of them and it makes us feel honored in a special way. The poster for the next edition of the Monte-Carlo TV Festival is a MAGÜ. It is our reinterpretation of the nymph, mine and Tixie (@ tixie.d), with four hands ».

Mystery revealed: Prince Albert II of Monaco, who has already invited him to the event as a guest first and as president of the jury after, entrusted him with the most precious image, in memory of his mother Grace Kelly. It was his father, in fact, Prince Rainier, who created the event in honor of his wife, one of the brightest stars in Hollywood, muse of the arts and entertainment. And for the 61 edition (from 17 to 21 June 2022) it will be the reference point for a week dedicated to the small screen.

Who is Tatiana?

Tatiana Djordievic – has the same name as her second wife in Berlin (coincidence?) – is an artist who has lived in Paris for many years, after graduating from the Sorbonne in comparative literature, with Pedro Alonso and with him she is a couple in life and in ‘art. Eclectic and multifaceted, she is the actor’s partner in every sense and she, a hypnotherapist, gave the actor the inspiration for his debut novel Book of Philip (The ship of Theseus). In fact, in the sessions, the Spanish artist says he discovered that he was a Roman soldier named Philip in a previous life.

These and many other fascinating tales arise from the creative flair of this dynamic duo who, not surprisingly, used a Persian word as the title of the painting offered to Monegasque royalty. “MAGÜ” in this ancient language means magic and represents the fusion of their two worlds. Individually, Pedro and Tatiana love to write and paint, but they started a shared journey inspired by the painter Gustave Moreau after a trip to the French capital. Thus was born a hymn to esotericism, to the ancient and primitive arts, which blend visible and invisible in a series of archaic symbols and modern and sophisticated vibrations.

Berlin’s first love

Pedro Alonso he started painting as a child and in elementary school he also got a punishment from the teacher, who did not believe he had drawn the homework. Even before learning to write he used brush or pencil to express himself (his works are signed Pedro O’Choro, surname of his paternal grandmother). And, he said during the Monte-Carlo festival, even now when he has to study a character he tends to scatter papers and images on the floor to find a connection. On the walls of his house, however, no Dali masks triumph, it seems they are only covered with his works. That’s why of all the takes of Lhome of paper he remembers with particular emotion those shot in Florence with Alvaro Morte (the Professor). He was the only one of the cast to stay in the Tuscan capital for another two days, touring museums. Favorite works? Michelangelo’s David and Brunelleschi’s Dome.

On the other hand, he often repeats, he has Italian blood in his veins with some Sardinian ancestors. This explains a large part of his momentum towards the beautiful country, which is not limited only to the hymn “Bella Ciao” in Berlin.
