Aspergillus Flavus is a fungus that grows in dead plant material on the ground and spreads to cereals, legumes and nuts. He has acquired the nickname “The Pharaoh’s Curse”, as many researchers who studied graves of ancient kings suddenly had serious respiratory problems. According to the Daily Mail, this fungus kills up to 50% of the people who are affected and is believed to “destroy people from the inside”, with experts worrying that climate change can exacerbate its spread.
