DxOMark tackled Google’s new flagships again, this time to evaluate their screens.
Recall that the displays of the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro are quite different. The younger model has a 6.4-inch AMOLED flat panel with Full HD + resolution with support for 90 Hz. The older one received a curved AMOLED panel with a frequency of 120 Hz, a diagonal of 6.7 inches and a resolution of 3210 x 1440 pixels.
Despite significant differences, the estimate is very close. The youngest model got 87 points, and the older one got 90 points. As a result, the Pixel 6 Pro took the fifth place in the ranking, sharing it with the iPhone 13 mini, and the Pixel 6 was rated at the level of the iPhone 12 Pro, Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra and Galaxy S20 Ultra.
The authors did not have any serious complaints about the screens. The older model did not have the highest brightness, and to this was added insufficient uniformity of color and brightness.
