One of the terrorists was blown up and the other terrorist was neutralized. During the fire, 2 of our police officers were slightly injured. I wish our heroes a speedy recovery. Our fight will continue relentlessly until the last terrorist is neutralized.”

Erdogan: “Terrorists will never achieve their goals”
“Terrorists will never achieve their goals,” Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan told the Turkish parliament hours after the bombing of the country’s interior ministry and condemned the terror attack.
“The criminals who threaten the peace and security of (Turkey’s) citizens have not achieved their goals and will never achieve them,” Recep Tayyip Erdogan said from parliament – after two policemen were wounded in the attack, in which the two attackers were killed.
“Turkey no longer expects anything from the European Union that made us endure at its door for 40 years,” the Turkish president said at another point in his speech.
