The Ministry of Finance, in cooperation with the competent Ministries of Development and Investment, Digital Governance, Infrastructure and Transport, with the issuance of a relevant decision (Government Gazette 5950 / B / 16-12-2021), proceeded to activate the measure of granting first aid against housing assistance for the support of the victims of the earthquake of October 30, 2020 in Samos and of the earthquake of March 3, 2021 in Thessaly.
In particular, the Financial Staff, with the contribution of the Independent Public Revenue Authority (AADE), announces that the operation of the electronic platform https://arogi.gov.gr/ for submitting applications for inclusion has started last Friday, December 17 to the above support measure.

More analytically, our fellow citizens affected by these earthquakes can, through the submission of a single application, which is at the same time a responsible statement of Law 1599/1986 (AD 75), regarding the truth of its content, request first aid aid for housing assistance,
– either for a building of professional use for which it has submitted or is about to submit an application for housing assistance, in accordance with the provisions of the following data DAEFK- Κ.Ε. / 26169 / Α325 / 2020 (Β΄ 5293), as well as the Δ.Α.Ε.Φ.Κ.-Κ.Ε. / 6350 / Α325 / 2021 (ΒΔ 964) Joint Ministerial Decisions for each event,
– either for the main residence, if it has submitted or will submit for this application for housing assistance, in accordance with the provisions of the following data DAEFK-KE / 26169 / Α325 / 2020 (Î’ ΄ 5293) or in the following data DAEFK-KE / 6350 / Α325 / 2021 (ΒΔ 964) Joint Ministerial Decision.
Therefore, the application can be submitted for up to one property per area and in particular for the property for which an application for housing assistance has been submitted or is to be submitted to the competent Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport. In the case of a residence, the application may relate to a residence, the main residence, and if a relevant application for housing assistance has been submitted or will be submitted to the competent Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport.
Extraordinary lump sum assistance against housing assistance is not granted in cases where the provision of housing assistance has already been approved by the competent department of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport.
The amount of aid reaches up to 14,000 euros for housing assistance to building owners affected by the above earthquakes, depending on the severity of the damage.
Upon application, the properties located in the areas of article 1 that were affected by the earthquake of October 30, 2020 or the earthquake of March 3, 2021 (indicative ATAK, descriptive data, co-ownership percentage, real right) from the current property situation, are pre-filled. as formulated by the last statement E9 and in accordance with the more specific provisions of paragraph 1 of Article 2. In case the property is composed of individual ATAK, the applicant selects those ATAK that make up the property.
The deadline for applications is January 14, 2022.
Please note that:
– For the payment of financial aid, beneficiaries need to have declared their bank account (IBAN) at myAADE (myaade.gov.gr).
– The application is issued in pdf file with QR code, in order to immediately confirm its validity.
The Government and the Ministry of Finance are proving in practice, once again, that they are assessing the needs and responding with new measures, where required. Aiming at the fastest and greatest possible relief of the victims, the necessary support is promoted in the areas that have suffered catastrophic earthquakes.
