Ivy Jacobsen, her officer police of Washington who recently got married to a sheriff, has made waves in the social mediaafter being escorted by 15 men to her outdoor wedding on July 15, including the police officer who jailed her abusive father when she was a teenager.
“At 16, the bride was instrumental in ensuring that the abusive father her going to jail,” wrote wedding planner Karrah, on TikTok depicting Jacobsen walking towards her future husband, Tristen. The clip garnered 11.7 million views.
“On his day marriage asked 15 of the most important men in her life to accompany her to the ceremony,” Karrah added in her caption viral video. “These men included her brother, her brother-in-law, her coaches and the police officer who arrested her father“, she broadcasts New York Post.
According to the post, two men who were by the police officer’s side on that momentous day joined hands with Jacobsen, 28, leading her down the aisle a few steps before handing her off to the next significant men, who eventually led her to the man of her life.
When the priest asked, “Who gives this woman to marry this man?”, the crowd of men accompanying Jacobsen thunderously and unanimously answered, “We.” Jacobsen has not responded to The Post’s request for comment.
I didn’t think I’d be sobbing at 8:00 in the morning, but I am. This is absolutely beautiful!” one viewer wrote in the comments. “She has all these amazing men by her side instead of someone she couldn’t in the first place,” added another. “I can’t even imagine how horrible it must have been for her as this helpless little girl grew up. Embrace the happy ending sweetieyou deserve it!!!,” another viewer cheered.
“One of the most powerful things I’ve seen on this app,” wrote another.
In response to the outpouring of love, Jacobsen thanked digital supporters for the well wishes and reminded people that the past traumas it doesn’t have to be life imprisonment.

We all have a story that shapes us – not defines us – but shapes us and gives us strength to move forward,” Jacobsen said in the clip, which was shared on Karrah’s TikTok profile. “That’s why I do what I do,” added the now-married officer, dressed in her uniform. “That’s why I show up every day in my community».
Jacobsen’s big … walk is one of the sweetest walks to go viral during the 2023 wedding season. In June, a 48-year-old father of the bride publicly refused to pay for his 19-year-old daughter’s wedding after she refused him to play a lead role during her wedding.
