The unity of Turkey’s foreign policy regardless of who is in the government is confirmed once again, on the occasion of the anniversary of Turkey’s invasion of Cyprus.

The president of the official opposition Keaml Kilicdaroglu in his post says: “I celebrate the anniversary of the ‘Peace Operation’ in Cyprus, one of the most important days of the struggle for existence for the ‘T/K’, and the ‘Peace and Freedom Day’ of ‘TDBK’ on July 20, and I remember our martyrs and veterans who have passed into eternity by God’s mercy and our living veterans. I respectfully honor the then P/T, my President Bulent Ecevit, the then Deputy Prime Minister Nejmedin Erbakan and the first President of the ‘TRBK’, Rauf Dektas, who fought to eliminate the oppression suffered by the ‘Turkish Cypriots’ and to bring peace to the island”.
