SYRIZA MP from Trikala, Sakis Papadopoulos, went to Parliament, asked to speak outside the program and did so, calling on his party to accept the filing of cases for Novartis politicians, to jointly change its position.
It signaled an alarm on the 7th floor of the “central”, in Koumoundourou, where the office of Alexis Tsipras is located.
Are you reconstructing or deleting, was the message sent to him by the party secretary Olga Gerovasilis, who undertook in her position to duly convey the request to the MP of Trikala together obviously with the dissatisfaction and what had been shared since it was uploaded to Sakis Papadopoulos, who by the way, among others, announced that this will be his last parliamentary term.
Slipped by violent reactions and the threat of deletionMr. Papadopoulos later issued a “corrective statement” in which grosso modo claimed that there was a misunderstanding and misinterpreted what he had stated – deliberately – earlier.
“Repeater” in criticism of SYRIZA- Justice
Koumoundourou, however, did not hide her strong annoyance at what her MP had initially said about Novartis and the archives, nor that she had been urged (and with the deletion pending) to restructure.
Yesterday was not the first time that Sakis Papadopoulos caused a stir in SYRIZA and it was not even the first time that he publicly criticized and distanced himself from his party for his stance on Justice.
Two years ago, in June 2020, the Trikala MP, he had fired rockets at his party againfollowing the same path again: He publicly criticized SYRIZA for its attitude towards Justice, talking about “interventions” and led to folding again from the “central”, with the exact same excuse: Misunderstanding.
Specifically, in an interview (r / s parapolitically), S. Papadopoulos regarding Justice, stated that he must stand up to the circumstances and politicians to avoid interferencewhile noting that some in the party wanted a faster administration of Justice and pointed out that he is also bothered aesthetically by the joints of power.
Controversies on the agenda
SYRIZA, however, especially when it opens issues it has paid for in the past and electorally, as in the case of Novartis, for example, he is confronted with “centrifugal” forces inside which, through their interventions, “shake” his opposition agenda in the air.
Yesterday, for example, the main opposition party resubmitted an September amendment calling on the government to extraordinary reductions in VAT on energy products.
Exerting strong pressure on the Government for the accuracy and management of the energy crisis is its central planning, the “fuss” for the major concerns of the Citizens.
Eventually, the official opposition “shone” through the commotion caused by controversy inside.
