The AnTuTu benchmark team has published rankings of the best Android smartphones in terms of price and performance in different price categories as of March 2022.
Experts noted the great progress of MediaTek production platforms – in the latest AnTuTu rating, MediaTek products appeared in several price segments at once.
AnTuTu also notes the consequences of the “price war” – the most budget category, up to 1999 yuan (up to $ 314), was headed by the Motorola Edge S30 and Realme GT smartphones, both based on last year’s Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ flagship platform. Third place belongs to Realme GT Neo2T with SoC Dimensity 1200.
The category leader from 2000 to 2999 yuan (from 315 to 471 dollars) was the Motorola Edge X30 in the 8/128 GB version, the second place was taken by the Redmi K50 smartphone, and the third was the Redmi K50 Pro.
In the CNY 3,000 to 3,999 ($472 to $628) category, Redmi K50 Gaming Edition is in first place, Realme GT2 Pro is in second, and Nubia Z40 Pro is in third.
In the 4,000 to 4,999 yuan ($629 to $785) category, Nubia Red Magic 7 Pro ranked first, Xiaomi Mi 12 Pro second, and iQOO 9 Pro third.
Among the most expensive smartphones with prices above $786, Oppo Find X5 Pro Dimensity Edition is in the lead. Oppo Find X5 Pro came in second and Vivo X70 Pro+ came in third.
