The Prime Minister of Japan, Yoshihide Suga, was vaccinated

The Prime Minister of Japan, Yoshihide Suga, received today the first dose of his vaccine for the new coronavirus, in preparation for his visit to the United States in April, where he will become the first foreign leader to have a face-to-face meeting with US President Joe Biden since the latter took office.

Mr. Suga is the first Japanese government official to be vaccinated in public. About 80 to 90 government officials will be immunized for the new coronavirus in view of their participation in the Japanese prime minister’s trip to the United States in the first fortnight of April.

“It did not hurt, although it seemed (how it would hurt)”, Mr. Suga assured journalists after receiving the first dose of his vaccine, broadcasts AMPE.
