“The Princess Diaries”: Chris Pine still doesn’t know if there will be a sequel

The actor Chris Pine 44, is still unsure if she will be in the sequel to “The Princess Diaries “. He played Prince Nicholas Devereaux, who fell in love with the character of Anne Hathaway in “The Princess Diaries 2”, role that marked his film debut .

In two separate interviews, the star was asked about his participation in the announced feature, which will feature Hathaway’s return to the role and will be directed by Adele Lim, from “Loucas em Apuros”. On the comedian’s show Jimmy Fallon The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, he commented on his role in the film.

“Probably more people come to me because of this than anything else I’ve done, and I’m really happy. It was an incredible experience,” said Chris Pine on the talk show. However, when asked about his participation in the film, he deflected: “The first time I heard about this was on the internet when someone sent me a screenshot.”

When questioned later on the Today program, Pine did not confirm whether he would be in the film but joked about the situation. “Call Disney . Call the [CEO da Disney] Bob Iger”, he said, in a humorous tone. “The answer is that I need to see it. I don’t know anything about that. I think it’s fantastic.”

In “The Princess Diaries” and “The Princess Diaries 2”, Anne Hathaway plays Mia Thermopolis, a girl who discovers that she is, in fact, princess of the kingdom of Genovia. Both features are available for streaming on Disney+.
