The rapper got a Solana tattoo on his forehead

Rapper Gazzy Garcia, better known as Lil Pump, posted a photo with a new tattoo. This is the Solana inscription on the performer’s forehead.

“Do you like my new tattoos? I sold my Sol [созвучно с soul — душа]“,” the rapper signed the publication.

The tattoo represents Solana with the blockchain logo. Whether it is real or not is unknown at the time of writing.

Lil Pump’s actions have caused mixed reactions. In particular, some members of the community criticized him for trying to “pump up” the rate of his own token, the contract of which the rapper posted in the note.

The asset was launched on the pump.fun platform at the end of May 2024.

“Your attempts to enter the cryptosphere are as crap as your music. The good news is that you are so bad at both that you won’t be able to make money on them,” said one commentator.

The rapper also hinted on his page that he still has space left for the Binance inscription on his forehead.

Against the backdrop of the situation, the asset Lil Pump (LILPUMP) showed an increase. On the daily chart it is 218%:

It is noteworthy that in May, crypto expert ZachXBT accused the rapper of organizing a Pump and Dump scheme. An advertisement for a token appeared on the artist’s page, which was removed a few minutes later, after which the asset’s rate collapsed.

At the same time, Lil Pump noted that he never created the token, accusing promoter Sahil Arora of fraud. He was known in X under the pseudonym habibi_comm.

The rapper later stated that he had regained control of both his page on the site and the token, after which he relaunched the project.

Lil Pump isn’t the only celebrity to launch his own memecoin. Previously, this was done by Australian singer Iggy Azalea.

Ethereum project co-founder Vitalik Buterin criticized this asset class, noting that they have no value.
