The amount of light passing through the Razer Analog Optical Switch is dependent on the pressure level, allowing for three new capabilities: Analog Input, Trigger Adjustment and Two-Stage Trigger.

The analog input mimics the operation of a joystick for smooth control in games. Unlike the usual discrete switching when using the WASD buttons, the player has an effect proportional to pressing.

The Actuator Adjustment allows you to customize the stroke of each key, adapting the keyboard to your preferred playstyle, from 1.5mm quick actuation for fast action games to 3.6mm actuation requiring “deep, thoughtful clicks.”

With two-stage actuation, one keystroke can activate two functions programmed for different actuation points. For example, in the game, by pressing halfway you can take a grenade, and by full pressing it will throw it at the enemy.

Unlike traditional mechanical switches, Razer Analog Optical Switches have fewer moving parts and no metal contact pairs. The lack of mechanical interaction between the contacts allowed us to declare a resource of 100 million clicks. The keyboard recognizes any number of simultaneously pressed keys.

The keycaps are made of double injection molded plastic, which makes them indelible. The keyboard will be available in several regional layouts, including Russian.

The device connects to a computer using a braided USB cable. To use USB 3.0 pass-through, you must connect a second cable. Users can choose between a USB Type-C or USB Type-A connection as an adapter is included. In addition, the kit includes a wrist rest covered with leatherette and fixed with a magnetic mount. The keyboard features RGB Chroma programmable backlighting.

The suggested retail price is $ 250, in Europe it is 270 euros.
