The European natural gas rally took a respite yesterday, with the Title Transfer Facity (TTF) closing 0.66% downward in the day, says experts in raw materials of ING, Ewa Manthey and Warren Patterson.
The TTF falls as storage accumulates, the JKM differential is narrow
“Some weakness in the JKM-TTF differential is dragging the TTF down. Meanwhile, interruptions in Norway have led to lower gas flows to Europe during the last week. The Troll field had energy related problems after the maintenance of last week; the interruption could persist until this weekend.”
“EU’s gas storage continues to increase, with a little less than 47% of its capacity, below 69% in the same stage last year and below the average of 58% of its capacity.”
