Better known as @rucoolaaa On social networks, Alessio is a content creator expert on food waste and vegetarian cuisine. For this reason he thought of a recipe for a dessert to prepare with the air fryer Philips 3000 Airfryer series with double basket: the soft chocolate and cauliflower cake, tahina frosting and crunchy sesame. “I often work with roasting and drying, which in the air fryer not only are perfect for me, but they do even better”. Through an ironic and lively approach, Alessio has always shared his idea not to waste food in the kitchen, transforming waste into delicious dishes, just like this cake. “The air fryer is versatile and I use it practically for everything, both to melt the chocolate of this cake, and for the crispy leek chips, which I love, up to the salted muffins made with advanced rice and beets”.

The recipe for the soft chocolate and cauliflower cake
- 170 g peaks of boiled or steamed bugs without salt
- 60 ml sunflower oil
- 100 ml lacticel (almond milk + 5 g of lemon; 10 min of rest)
- 160 g Farina 0
- 40 g melted dark chocolate
- 100 g soy yogurt
- 180 g brown sugar
- 25 g bitter cocoa
- 8 g yeast for sweets
- Pinch of salt
- 250 g vegetable butter or vegetable spreadable (type philadelphia)
- 75 g tahina
Crunchy sesame (about 20-30 g)
- 40 g sugar
- 20 g water
- Toast the sesame in AIFRYER 4 minutes at 190 degrees. Mix 40 g sugar and 20 g water, add in the sesame pan, then cook in AIFRYER for 10 minutes at 185 degrees.
- In the meantime, in the small basket, melt the chocolate in a baking dish for 2 minutes at 160 degrees. Roll out the crunchy sesame on parchment paper, close in package and level. Let cool.
- Blend the cauliflower with the dairy and the seed oil. Mix the liquids with the solids, pour into a pan lined with a veil of margarine and cook with the airfryer program for desserts at 160 degrees for 30 minutes.
