Photos clearly show that the iPhone 13’s bangs have become noticeably smaller in width. According to Macotakara, the bangs on the iPhone 13 are 5.35 x 26.8 mm, while the cutout on the iPhone 12 is 5.3 x 34.83 mm.
The cutout was reduced in size by moving the loudspeaker hole closer to the top edge of the smartphone. In addition, Apple switched to D-ToF (Direct ToF) technology. Recall that this cutout has not changed since the release of the iPhone X in 2017.
