The Macrumors website has published live photos comparing the cutouts of the iPhone 12 and iPhone 13. The source has a protective glass for the iPhone 13, which was placed next to the switched on iPhone 12.
Photos clearly show that the iPhone 13’s bangs have become noticeably smaller in width. According to Macotakara, the bangs on the iPhone 13 are 5.35 x 26.8 mm, while the cutout on the iPhone 12 is 5.3 x 34.83 mm.

The cutout was reduced in size by moving the loudspeaker hole closer to the top edge of the smartphone. In addition, Apple switched to D-ToF (Direct ToF) technology. Recall that this cutout has not changed since the release of the iPhone X in 2017.
It is reported that all smartphones of the iPhone 13 line will receive LTPO displays with adaptive image refresh rate up to 120 Hz, a single-chip Apple A15 Bionic system, larger batteries, and support for Wi-Fi 6E.

The presentation of the iPhone 13 line is expected in September this year.
