The release of the 6th group of hostages from Hamas is in progress

The release of the 6th group is reportedly underway hostages from Hamasas the ceasefire agreement in Gaza was extended for two days.

AFP cites a source close to the Palestinian organization and reports that the hostages were handed over a short time ago to the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) as part of the prisoner exchange agreement with Israel.

Earlier today, two were released Russian-Israeliaged 50 and 73, who had been kidnapped from the kibbutz Nir Oz during the attack launched by Hamas on October 7.

Since Friday, at least 10 Israeli hostages – women and children – have been released every afternoon in exchange for the release of three times the number of Palestinian prisoners.
