– Tourism and the resilience of the Greek tourism industry, which in 2021 managed to recover 47% in number of arrivals and 59% in travel receipts of the percentages achieved by, before the pandemic, 2019.

-Energy and the need for energy transition. In the current period with the continuous rise of prices that burden the world economy, since energy consumption is a prerequisite for most economic activities, the debate on energy transition, supplier diversification, energy storage, and detoxification from fossil fuels , is extremely topical. Exploring available energy supply alternatives is important for the domestic economy and the government is looking for synergies, market opportunities, bilateral cooperation, etc.

– Enhancing growth momentum and business synergies through high technology, research, digitization, smart automation, Artificial Intelligence and the practical implementation of ideas that result in the introduction of new goods and services or the improvement in the supply of goods or services. Both countries have much to gain by focusing on innovation, research and technology.

– Agricultural products / food and the need for access to safe and nutritious foods that meet the nutritional preferences and nutritional needs of consumers. Food security is an issue that concerns all countries. The Mediterranean diet is the flagship of healthy eating and the extroverted Greek food and beverage industry can guarantee the availability of high quality products.

It is recalled that the business forum aims to further promote the relations between the business communities of Greece and Saudi Arabia, something that is expected to have a positive impact on the one hand on the extroversion of the country, and on the other hand on strengthening the national economy.
