The reborn GeForce RTX 2060 will be better than you might expect.
Recall that the card will receive 12 GB of memory, that is, twice as much as the original model. But now it became known that in fact it will be something cut between the RTX 2060 and the RTX 2060 Super, because the new product will have the same number of CUDA cores as the older model, that is, 2176. The usual RTX 2060 had 1920.
True, the memory bus will remain 192-bit, like the younger one. That is, an intermediate version will turn out, but with an increased amount of memory. In this case, the TDP will grow from 175 to 184 watts, but this is an insignificant charge for additional memory.
The GPU is expected to run at up to 1650 MHz, just like the RTX 2060. The memory will be GDDR6 at 14 GHz.
As we already said, the RTX 2060 with 12 GB of memory should be presented on December 7, although there were earlier rumors about the beginning of next year.
