The key to a good result is represented by a good exfoliation, which serves to remove the devitalized cells deposited on the surface. “At this time of the year you need a product with very fine microgranules, to be gently rubbed on the face and neck, and repeated twice a week: in a few steps it frees from thickening that takes away brightness, making the skin surface uniform”, emphasizes the expert. “Go ahead, then, to moisturizing cosmetic treatments, preferring fluid or gel textures, which have the characteristic of being absorbed instantly and leave no residue”.

THE FIRST ALLY: THE BRONZER
Probably during the summer months it was shelved, but at this time of the year it becomes the star product of the beauty case. «The bronzer is distributed with a large brush with long and soft bristles. Large quantities of it are not needed and it is not even necessary to tap it vigorously on the skin, but it must simply be passed lightly on strategic points of the face », underlines Giada Venturotti. «It is used on the forehead, on the sides of the nose, on the cheekbones and on the central area of ​​the face from the forehead to the chin. In this way the most protruding points of the face are emphasized, which pigment more easily during sunbathing ». For the day, the versions with microglitter or shimmer should be excluded because they obtain the unsightly strobosphere effect (the mirrored and rotating sphere of the disco) by favoring the opaque ones. It should not be forgotten that the melanin that rises to the surface already gives a discreet shiny appearance, and further emphasizing it would make the result unnatural.

THE HIGHLIGHT FOR A JLO EFFECT
It is an indispensable and strategic ally because it gives three-dimensionality. In compact powder, to be distributed with a flat and soft brush, or in cream, to be tapped and blended with fingertips, it should be chosen with care. “The right iridescence must be selected taking into account the undertone of the skin: when the basic complexion is naturally pink it must contain bright pink micro-fragments, if it is warm and olive, the golden versions are fine, while in the case of very dark skin the sparkling micro-particles must be bronze ”, underlines the make-up artist. Also in this case the application cannot be approximate. «To obtain a respectable JLo result, the points not to be overlooked are the area between the upper part of the cheekbone and the temples, carefully avoiding the eye contour. A small dose is blended on the inner corner of the eye, on the tip of the nose and on the cupid’s bow, the small “V” in the center of the upper lip ».

EYESHADOW AND MASCARA
Those who do not want to give up a touch of color on their eyes must keep in mind two precious indications. «Use a little product on the entire mobile lid and favor the cream versions with champagne, golden and bronze micro-fragments. The chromatic range can range from pink to passepartout peach, to elegant and sober beige, to lively and fun electric blue », explains Giada Venturotti. For the contour and the lashes the suggestions are precise. «While the pencil can be given up, mascara should not be neglected. It is essential to use the versions that give extra thickness and length ».

NEVER WITHOUT THE BLUSHER
The make-up of the cheekbones is crucial because with the right precautions it can accentuate the natural glow of the face. Also in this case the nuance must be identified taking into account the natural skin undertone: when it is pink yes to all shades of fuchsia, if it is olive or very dark, all shades of coral are fine. «The cream versions are preferred because they make the look fresh and natural. The new formulas have evolved compared to the preparations of the past, and guarantee a refined and long-lasting finish. The powders, on the other hand, are to be avoided because they give colored powdery and mat facets not recommended on tanned skin. They are used with the fingertips, blending them to perfection following the classic smile & blend on cheeks rule », says the trainer.

THE FINAL TOUCH
The choice of the shade of lipstick depends on personal tastes: yes, therefore, to the ranges of fuchsia, but also of browns and nudes. «In the latter case, one option is to first outline the edges with a specific pencil of a darker tone, blending it inwards, for an“ ombré ”effect inspired by the Nineties», explains the expert. «The rule suggests to favor matte lipstick to create a pleasant contrast with the make-up that aims to enhance the amber shades of the skin».
