Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belausov said today that the Russian army has accelerated its rhythm in Ukraine and was taking control of 600-700 square kilometers a month, compared to 300-400 square kilometers at the beginning of the year. Bellausov also said that Russia has caused significant damage to Ukraine’s military and industrial infrastructure, carrying out 35 mass attacks this year on what it called 146 critical significant goals. “As a result, 62% of basic operations in Ukraine’s military -industrial complex has been damaged,” Belausov said. “I would particularly like to point out the blows that reduce production capacity, as well as those targeting logistics centers and launching points of unmanned aircraft.” Reuters was unable to verify these items on the battlefield.
