Roscosmos has specified the time of the return to Earth of the “film crew” – a team with a Russian film crew on the transport manned spacecraft Yu.A. Gagarin “(Soyuz MS-18).
The return of Roscosmos cosmonaut Oleg Novitsky, director Klim Shipenko and actress Yulia Peresild is scheduled for October 17, 2021.
Closing the passageways between the manned spacecraft Yu.A. Gagarin “and the multipurpose laboratory module” Science “of the Russian segment of the International Space Station will take place from 00:45 to 01:05 Moscow time on October 17.
According to the updated data of the Mission Control Center TsNIIMash (part of the Roscosmos State Corporation), undocking is expected at 04:14, the launch of the spacecraft’s propulsion system to issue a braking impulse at 06:41:46 and the landing of the descent vehicle at 07:35:42 by Moscow time. The landing will take place 148 km southeast of the city of Zhezkazgan.
Interestingly, the landing time and location have changed slightly. Initially, it was planned to land at 07:36:35 and two kilometers closer to Zhezkazgan.
Roskosmos will broadcast live the closing of the transfer hatches between the Soyuz and the ISS. The broadcast will begin at 00:15 Moscow time:
