The Russian demands through the court from Sony almost 11 million rubles for shutting down the PlayStation Store

On March 10, Sony announced the suspension of activities in Russia, suspended all deliveries of software and consoles, as well as the operation of the PlayStation Store service. The plaintiff stated that Sony unilaterally decided to deprive him of the promised service and did not allow him to further develop the game account.

Igor Romashov claims that Sony did not warn users that all these features have a limited duration, so he believes that he purchased the product of inadequate quality. As a result of the defendant’s violation of consumer rights, the plaintiff incurred losses on the purchase of Fifa points in the amount of 783,825 rubles. In addition, he demands compensation for non-pecuniary damage in the amount of 10 million rubles.
