On the official website of the Ruselectronics holding, which is part of the state corporation Rostec, yesterday, February 15, there was information that Russian developers presented at the International Forum “Security Technologies-2022” a new modular digital complex designed to alert by IP networks in case of emergencies. It is important to note that this equipment is completely built on an open architecture, which makes it possible to use the complex at facilities of any level – both in small enterprises and in entire regions.
“P-166Ts is the first Russian digital warning complex over IP networks. It is the basis of the centralized warning system in Moscow, the Moscow region and St. Petersburg: the equipment is installed in more than two thousand objects of various sizes and purposes. As a result of the modernization, the complex received an automatic health check system, which allows you to control the health of the equipment without special events and without the participation of personnel,” said Alexander Alekseev, General Director of KNIITMU.
The official website also talked about the configuration of the modernized P-166Ts complex, which was developed by specialists from the Kaluga Research Institute of Telemechanical Devices (part of Ruselectronics). For example, the latest development includes a fully automated warning system control panel, as well as a universal unit responsible for controlling terminal devices, and a separate unit for controlling remote-type electric sirens. Together with the latest automatic health check system, which was installed during the modernization of the already finished complex, a very advanced system is obtained for working in emergency situations.
In addition, Ruselectronics specialists noted the possibility of integrating the modernized complex with automated systems of the Safe City APK, as well as the possibility of making the P-166Ts an additional component of the city’s information and telecommunications service. There’s even a separate small business version that comes with a compact internet-connected audio speaker that will send voice messages over the telephone to specific callers in the event of an emergency.
