A presentation of the new Hyundai Tucson crossover for the Russian market took place in Moscow. This is the fourth generation of the model with a futuristic exterior and interior in the new INTERSPACE style. The new Hyundai Tucson is released on the Russian market in four trim levels – Classic, Family, Lifestyle and Prestige, as well as in a special version called Visioner. The range of engines includes 149 horsepower Smartstream G2.0 petrol units and 190 horsepower Smartstream G2.5 GDi units, as well as a 186 horsepower Smartstream D2.0 diesel engine. They are accompanied by a 6-speed manual transmission or automatic transmission and an 8-speed automatic transmission. The drive, depending on the configuration, is either front or full HTRAC.
Classic is the base equipment of the new Hyundai Tuscon with a wealth of equipment for the base. It includes six airbags, a Supervision dashboard with a 4.2-inch display and a multimedia system with an 8-inch monitor and support for Android Auto and Car Play, heated front seats, a cruise control system with a speed limiter and a multifunction steering wheel with leather-trimmed wheels. There is a car on 17-inch alloy wheels.
The Family package, in addition to the basic equipment, received a rear-view camera and parking sensors, dual-zone climate control, a keyless entry system with an engine start button, heated steering wheel, Bluelink service and a pair of USB ports for rear passengers. For an additional fee, the Advanced Pack includes heated windscreen and washer nozzles, windscreen defogging, roof rails, power side mirrors and rain sensor.
The Lifestyle package features LED optics, a wireless smartphone charger in the interior and a chrome grille outside. The Smart Sense package of intelligent safety systems is also available as an option.
The Prestige is the top-of-the-line package for the new Korean crossover. Here the driver and passengers are greeted by a luxurious interior with natural and artificial leather trim, chrome accents, an electric trunk, a driver’s seat with 10-way adjustments, a digital dashboard, and a premium audio system. The top model stands on 18-inch alloy wheels, a full-fledged spare wheel on the same wheel, rear LED optics, silver bumper covers and glossy elements.
As for the exclusive version of the Visioner, it is a combination of the rich equipment of the Prestige package with Smart Sense safety system, stylish design solutions and a premium travel kit.
The new Hyundai Tucson can already be ordered from official dealerships and on the online platform of the Korean auto giant. The cost of the crossover in the Classic configuration starts at 1,869,000 rubles for a car with a 2-liter 149-horsepower petrol engine, 6-speed manual transmission and front-wheel drive and reaches 1,929,000 rubles for the same version, but with a 6-speed automatic. The Family package is offered at a price of 2,019,000 rubles for the version with a 2-liter unit for 149 horses, a 6-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive and reaches 2,269,000 rubles for the version with a 2.5-liter gasoline engine and 190 horses, all-wheel drive HTRAC and 8-speed automatic. Prices for the Lifestyle package range from 2,169,000 to 2,519,000 rubles. A car in the Prestige configuration will cost at least 2,499,000 rubles, for a top-end model with a diesel engine, all-wheel drive and 8-speed mechanics they ask for 2,769,000 rubles.
