Many game developers and publishers have already announced the suspension of sales in Russia, and now the Ukrainian studio GSC Game World has done the same. She announced that the new part of the hit Stalker would not be sold in Russia.
Only a few users from Russia will receive STALKER 2 – those who have already pre-ordered the digital version. Given that the release is scheduled (so far) for the end of the year, there are clearly not many of them. New pre-orders for digital editions are not accepted. There will be no games on physical media at all – neither on pre-orders, nor in retail. Those who have already pre-ordered are advised to contact the stores for a refund.
At the end of its message on VKontakte, GSC Game World announced its departure from the social network. The studio invites everyone interested to follow the news on other sites: the stalker2.com website, as well as on official Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Discord and Reddit.
