Apple began selling the new Apple TV 4K set-top box, which was unveiled a month ago alongside the powerful iPad Pro and vibrant iMacs.
The set-top box can be ordered in more than 20 countries, including the United States, on April 30, and now open sales have begun. In Russia, Apple began accepting pre-orders only today, May 21. Open sales will begin on May 25th.
Prices in Russia are 16,990 rubles for the version with 32 GB of flash memory and 18,990 steering wheels for the version with 64 GB, and in the US – 179 and 199 dollars, respectively.
The next generation Apple TV 4K supports High Frame Rate HDR and Color Balance Technology. Included is a new Siri Remote with a clickpad, with five buttons for more precise navigation. In addition, it has a touch surface and supports swipe gestures for fast scrolling. The outer ring of the clickpad supports circular gestures and acts as a joystick.
