Here we are there. Start tonight the Sanremo Festivaledition number 75, with 29 singers in the race: the winner will be proclaimed on the evening of Saturday 15 February. The conductor and artistic director is Carlo Conti, who takes the witness from Amadeus, after five very lucky editions. Will the festival really be zero controversy, as in the hopes of accounts? Maybe. Co-conductors of the first evening are Antonella Clerici And Gerry Scotti. All 29 singers in the race will perform tonight. The performances will be voted by the Jury of the press room, TV and web and at the end of the vote the ranking will be drawn up, which will only be communicated the First five positions, without order of placement.
The festival will open a tribute to the pianist and composer Ezio Bosso, who passed away in 2020, which Conti had hosted in his second Sanremo, in 2016, and which inspired him the key word of this year’s edition: together.
The guests
The guests of the first evening are the Israeli singer Noa and the Palestinian singer Mira Awad who will sing together Image by John Lennon: the message for peace in the Middle East. At 10.30 pm the super guest Jovanotti who will bring a consistent show with a moment of celebration: with him on stage there will also be the Rockin’1000 – The Biggest Rock Band on Earth, a musical supergroup made up of musicians from all over the world, born in Italy In 2014 as a tribute to Foo Fighters.
