An act of heroism occurred on Sunday morning at the New York Fort Montgomery, when a 20 -year -old West Point Military Academy and Black Knights football team played his life to rescue a man trapped in a burning car. Larry Pickett Jr., a defender for a second year at West Point, was in the car with his family, returning from a dinner in New York, when he saw a vehicle collided with an electric pole on 9W Street. The vehicle was wrapped in flames, while power cables caused sparks, according to the local WTVD network.
